About Plot Twist Radio
Some stories entertain us.
Others change us.
Plot Twist Radio was created to explore the moments that shape who we become — the unexpected turns, personal battles, creative breakthroughs, reinventions, and defining experiences hidden behind public personas.
Hosted by Erin Egnatz, the show blends cinematic storytelling with deeply human conversations featuring actors, musicians, comedians, athletes, authors, journalists, paranormal voices, and cultural figures from across the entertainment world and beyond.
What began as a passion for storytelling quickly evolved into something larger: a space where guests can move beyond rehearsed answers and speak honestly about the experiences that transformed their lives and careers.
Erin’s background as a historian, author, educator, and creator of Hauntings Around America brings a unique perspective to every interview — combining curiosity, atmosphere, emotional depth, and a genuine fascination with the stories people carry beneath the surface.
The result is a show that feels less like a traditional interview…
and more like a conversation unfolding in real time.
From iconic names and rising creatives to survivors, innovators, and unexpected voices, Plot Twist Radio celebrates the idea that every life contains a turning point worth exploring.
Because behind every headline, performance, achievement, or public image…
there’s always another story waiting to be told.
Meet The Host:
Erin Egnatz is a historian, multi-hyphenate storyteller, educator, and media personality whose career defies a single definition. A published author (Eliza Nevius) across romance, fiction, and paranormal genres, she brings her signature blend of wit, emotional depth, and unexpected twists to every story she tells. She has authored books such as Professionally Unprofessional, The Jaded Knight, Book One in the Lux Bellator Series, The Key to Wonderland, and The Dud Witch.
Beyond the page, Erin is the host of Plot Twist Radio, where she brings a cinematic and deeply personal approach to interviewing, guiding conversations beyond headlines and public personas to reveal the defining moments that shape a person’s life and career.
By day, Erin is a professor of history and archaeology, bringing the past to life for her students. By night (and sometimes in between), she explores the unexplained as a ghost hunter and creator of Hauntings Around America, where she dives into the stories that live in the space between documented history and the unexplained. She's investigated in 40 different states and has been a guest on the famous Coast 2 Coast AM radio show.
Whether she’s writing novels, interviewing headline-making guests, teaching, or investigating haunted locations, Erin’s work is united by one thing: a passion for storytelling in all its forms.
Her work has been featured in outlets such as Newsweek, Fox, The History Channel, Scary Mommy, MSN, and NBC.
Through Plot Twist Radio, Erin continues to explore the unexpected turns, hidden struggles, reinventions, and extraordinary stories that connect us all.
Because every person has a story.
And every story has a plot twist.

I think Erin is one of the most exciting talents in media today and PLOT TWIST RADIO exemplifies it! She is so bright and well-informed and charming it is as much a pleasure to appear on her show as it is to listen to it. If I could give her 6 stars I would!
The Royal Treatment
Erin is a striking combination of a Disney princess and savvy life-observer. Holding court on her “throne,” she asks the right questions and connects deeply. A true gem in the pod-o-sphere!
